Adan Silva is a partner and the software development lead at ACT360 Web & IT Inc., a Canadian-owned technology partner serving businesses across Central and Southern Ontario. He leads the engineering behind ACT360’s custom web applications, system integrations, software architecture and AI engineering work.

His standard is simple: good software solves a real business problem, fits the systems people already use, and keeps working long after launch day. With a background in backend web development, Adan starts every project by understanding the problem first. He designs the architecture around how the business actually works, then builds something reliable, secure and maintainable, not something that only works in the demo.

Every ACT360 project follows ACTION, the company’s methodology: Assess, Comprehend, Tailor, Implement, Optimize, Nurture. Because the same team already provides managed IT for many of the businesses ACT360 builds for, development starts with context, not a blank page. Clients own what gets built, and their teams are trained to use it. The kind of work Adan leads includes a quoting or job costing application for a manufacturer, a secure client portal for a law firm, a project profitability dashboard for an engineering firm, and secure Power BI dashboards embedded in WordPress for a multi-location healthcare provider.

Adan also speaks and writes about AI and the future of software development: how AI is changing the way software gets designed, built and maintained, and what that means in practice for business owners and technical teams. His focus is what’s real today, what’s still hype, where AI speeds up delivery, where it introduces risk, and why architecture, clean integrations and human judgment matter more, not less, as the tools get faster. In his words: “Adding AI to a product is easy. Making it dependable in a real business, connected to real data, secure and accountable, is engineering work.”
