The short answer
Every year, BarrieToday asks its readers to vote on the local businesses they’d actually recommend to a friend. No judging panel, no submission fee, just people in Barrie and Simcoe County saying who they trust. This year, in the Computers & Electronics category, that vote went to ACT360.
We want to be direct about what this actually means to us. A vote like this doesn’t come from a marketing campaign or a contest push. It comes from clients, from people we’ve worked alongside for years, and from neighbours in a community we’ve been part of since Adam Bowles started fixing computers out of his basement in 2008. When people take a minute out of their day to vote for a local IT company, that’s a level of goodwill that has to be earned one project, one support call, and one straight answer at a time.
That’s been the operating idea behind ACT360 from the start. Long before “managed IT” was the term for it, the approach was the same: understand the business before recommending anything, and be the kind of technology partner a client would actually vouch for. Fifteen-plus years and hundreds of businesses later, across healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, and professional services throughout Central and Southern Ontario, that hasn’t changed.
This recognition belongs to the whole ACT360 team: the technicians answering tickets, the project managers keeping migrations on schedule, the account managers who actually pick up the phone, and every client who gave us the chance to prove it. Thank you to everyone who voted, and thank you to BarrieToday for running a recognition program that puts the decision in the community’s hands instead of a boardroom’s.
